The Matter of Perception

The Matter of Perception: a novel about manifesting a better life in the face of personal hardship

Embark on a transformative journey in this self-help novel that delves into the depths of personal growth, healing, and empowerment. Mariah, inspired by a book on manifestation, seeks a fresh start in a neighboring state, only to face a life-altering tragedy that shatters her plans. Struggling with resentment, mistrust, and the weight of circumstances, Mariah crosses paths with Alexandria, a beacon of guidance and positivity. Mariah must confront her past, conquer her fears, and find the strength to forgive. This poignant narrative weaves a tapestry of resilience and the realization that the power to manifest one's desires is a matter of perception.

Why I Wrote this Novel

Years ago I was puzzling over the thought that even though people around me all said they believe in manifesting, few of them seemed to achieve success in having a happy life. And I wondered why bad things happened to good people. How could they get back on track to happiness? A story started coming to me as I got up in the morning, or in the shower. It came back over and over for years before I decided I should write it as a novel.

It has taken me another three or four years to write, edit and publish this book. It was worth it. I promise it is a good read.
